Push warm air from a heat exchanger to through a duct to a cold spot in your home. During the winter, any room with insufficient air flow will create a cold zone. This can force your heating system to work harder without actually generating more warmth to that area.
In warmer months when running your air conditioning, these same locations will inevitably develop hot spots which create the same stress on your cooling system.
But with an air booster installed you can direct additional air flow into places that are not being serviced as well by your HVAC system.
Move cooler air to upstairs rooms in the summer, or heat added rooms that may be harder to keep warm in the winter. When you have one of more rooms to cool or heat, an air booster is a great addition.
Air boosters are also great for workshops, garages, small offices, and computer rooms.
