Armstrong International D42724 Condensate Cooler or Model CC-25 has a capacity of 25 GPM (a combination of total condensate & cooling water). The condensate cooler consists of 1 1/2" NPT Vent, 1 1/2" Hot Condensate Inlet, 2" Tempered Condensate Outlet, and 1" Cold Water Inlet.

How does Condensate Cooler work?

Armstrong Condensate Cooler is widely used in the plumbing industry. This equipment decreases the temperature to acceptable discharge drain temperatures as required by city and state codes by mixing hot water or hot condensate with a cold water supply. 

When hot condensate or hot water is drained into the condensate cooler body, the tempering valve opens and allows cold water to enter the chamber and mix with hotter liquid, cooling it to a preset temperature level of 135°F (57°C) or to the desired temperature.
