The Asco 8214G251 watertight 2-way solenoid valve is used for fuel gas service.  The valve has a pipe size of 1" that can accommodate 1,132,300 Btu/hr fuel gas and can hold up pressure ranging from 0 to 5 PSI.  The diaphragm operation is normally closed. 

The 8214G251 is made to be sturdy with its rugged aluminum body and stainless steel internal parts.  It can be mounted in any position using the valve mounting flanges or the 296659-002 Flange Adapter Kit for easier disassembly and maintenance.  Also, when the parts become worn or damaged, a complete 323939 (AC) / 325741 (DC) Rebuild Kit must be installed.

Asco Series 8214 (200) Gas Shutoff Valves are 2-way internal pilot-operated solenoid valves.  They can be applied to commercial and industrial gas burners for on and off fuel gas control.  If you are looking for watertight solenoid valve, the 8214 Series also offers a solenoid valve with Junction Box as the enclosure.  
 

Easy to install valve because of its mounting flanges located in the inlet and outlet NPT connection.  Direct connection between two valves is possible with the 4 mounting flanges in the inlet and outlet or by using an optional Flange Adapter Kit.
