The B428V-200 is an SPDT pressure switch that has a 1/4" NPT connection size and 125/250V with 15 amps. It has a –20°F to 150°F (–19°C to 65°C) ambient temperature range and 0 to 200 psi pressure range. UL-listed, CE-approved, FM-approved, and CSA-certified.

My switch serial # A6003679 has a reset button. What is the equivalent model number for this switch without a reset button but with a dead band? I want to change it out with a switch that automatically changes state after the pressure drops below the dead band.

The B4 pressure switches can have a fixed or limited adjustable deadband. The B420 switches have a narrow deadband, and the B450 have a variable deadband. On this page, if you open any of the 3 data sheets, you can see an order code. B4 refers to the enclosure, for this product, the 28, refers to the switching element, to have a variable deadband, the switching element is 50. We can supply a B450B-100 PSI or a B450B-600PSI unit, both of which have a variable deadband. If you require a different configuration, please let us know and our team will be happy to add the product.

The switch we have installed has a reset button. Is it possible to modify the switch such that resetting the switch is not necessary. That is, can I modify it to work with a dead band?

No, we do not modify switches. To do so, you would need to order a B4 switch with a different switching element that offers a variable or narrow deadband.
