The Automated Logic ALC/10K-2-RA-2 is a Temperature Sensor consisting of a 2' (0.6m) stainless steel Rigid Duct Averaging probe.  It uses 10K-2 Thermistor as the sensor's sensing element.

Automated Logic offers a series of Duct Rigid Averaging Temperature sensors or Transmitters.  You can configure the sensor according to your needs or preference.  The optional probe lengths range from 12", 2',3' and 4'.  Also, optional sensing elements such as Thermistor or RTD, optional enclosures (no box, 2”x4” steel J-Box, or BAPI-Box Crossover), and units with test balance switch or terminal strip connection are available.

The Rigid Averaging Sensor is easily mounted to the wall duct and secured in place by BAPI #8 screws.  The sensor features a closed-cell foam that absorbs vibration and seals the probe insertion hole.  

A BAPI BA/PKP-100 pierceable knockout plug can be purchase to seal the open port of BAPI-Box Crossover or BAPI-Box 4 Enclosure units.  Using this plug can increase the sensor enclosure rating from IP10 to IP44.  All units are made to be durable and withstand harsh conditions with the etched Teflon lead wires and sensor encapsulation.
