The Automated Logic ALC/LDT3-RS10-BB Water Leak Detector consists of 10 ft. FEP cable Remote Spot Sensor and enclosed with BAPI-Box.  The enclosure has IP66 rating that can totally protect the detector against dust and direct high-pressure jets.  Also, the alarm output is 5Amp and uses SPDT contacts.

Automated Logic offers a series of Water Leak Detectors that can easily detect water in a span of 5 seconds.  The detector can sense different water types such as dirty and purified water, deionized water, distilled water, and reverse osmosis water. 

The detector features an LED light indicator which you can easily identify the status of the unit and water detection.  A green light means normal operation and red when water is detected.  Also, it has a latching alarm (alarm continues until manually reset) or non-latching alarm (relay automatically resets after water is removed) feature that you can easily set.  You also have an option to switch the relay supervision. 

A great addition to your HVAC system that can alert you of water leaks.  It doesn't prevent water leaks but, a cost-effective device to have for a faster response to stop the leakage.
