The BAPI Immersion Extreme Temperature Sensor is ideal for boiler, stack, and cryogenic applications. The operating temperature ranges from -200 °C to 600 °C and a reference resistance of 1KΩ at 0°C. All units available consist of Platinum RTD as the sensor.
Three sizes of the 316 stainless steel probe are offered 3.5", 5.5", and 8.5". Also, it has a double-ended 1/2” NPT fitting for connection. The sensor is protected with an optional Cast aluminum Weatherproof enclosure that has a rating of NEMA 3R. These units can be used with a remote-mounted BAPI ruggedized temp transmitter to provide a linear proportional 4 to 20 mA output.
