The Bard HVAC 8402-114BX Thermal Cutoff 93°C (200°F) is an OEM Bard replacement safety device designed specifically for Bard heating and cooling equipment, providing factory-approved over-temperature protection by permanently breaking the electrical circuit if internal temperatures reach 93°C. 

This one-time, non-resettable thermal cutoff (limit open on rise) is commonly used as a high-limit safety in the electric heating sections of Bard wall-mounted HVAC units and as a safety limit control on various Bard heating and cooling systems. 

Serving as a direct replacement for earlier Bard part numbers 8402-114 and S8402-114, the 8402-114BX restores original performance, protects elements, wiring, and controls from heat damage, and helps maintain reliable, trouble-free operation of compatible Bard units.
