The Baso H17AB-2 is an automatic pilot valve for gas standing pilot applications at pressures up to 0.5 psi (35 mbar).  The valve has a  16 kW (54,000 BTU) capacity, ⅛” FNPT connection size, and  ⅛”-27 NPT pilot tap.  This can be used with natural gas and Liquefied Petroleum gas. 

The H17AB-2 valve is suitable for commercial ovens, broilers, room heaters, infrared heaters, stand-alone portable heaters, catalytic heaters, refrigerators, and other applications that require a high-temperature pilot valve.  Operating temperature ranges from -40 to 300°F (-40 to 149°C).

H17 Series Automatic Pilot Valves are designed for safety lighting and to completely shut off in time that the flame heating the thermocouple is extinguished.  Also, the series features a reset button that allows gas flow to both the main burner and the pilot burner.  

All units are easy to install.  When mounting, it is recommended to choose a position where you can easily access the reset button.

The H17AB-2 is CSA approved and replaces Model  H17AB-2C Pilot Valve.
