The 233-46277-05 is a pilot assembly that consists of a pilot, spark igniter, and thermocouple. CSA-certified.
The pilot assembly is suitable for use with natural gas water heater applications. The unit is used to provide the pilot flame that lights up the main burner by creating a spark to burn the gas with the ignitor. The flame is then sensed through the thermocouple thus opening the gas valve.
The 233-46277-05 directly replaces part number 233-46277-04.
