The Bray 93-0834-11300-532 is a spring return type of pneumatic actuator for Bray Quarter-Turn Valves.  Operating pressure ranges from 40 to 140 psi (2.8 - 10 bar).  The suggested media is dry compressed air, using other media such as inert gases, hydraulic oil, and water is acceptable but the factory must be consulted for specific applications.

The Series 93 Spring Return Pneumatic Actuator is constructed to be modular and made of materials providing strength, ruggedness, and compactness.  The series features a double piston, rack and pinion mechanism to automate quarter-turn valves.  This type of actuator is usually used for both on/off and throttling applications.

The spring return actuator has spring cartridges that push the pistons together by spring force in time the compressed air pressure is lost.  The actuators will normally rotate the valve stem clockwise to close with the spring stroke, and counter-clockwise to open with the air stroke.  Fail closed is the normal operation of the spring cartridges.

The Series 93 is totally enclosed to protect internal parts and is easy to assemble and disassemble.  It can be mounted directly on the top plate of Bray Valves.

Note: Before mounting, put some lubrication in the output bore of the actuator for easier service after long years of usage.
