The 998-0021-00 is quick and easy to install by stripping 3/16" of the wire insulation and inserting it below the & tab into the barrel slot. Use a barrel crimp tool to flatten the tab into the insulation and slot around the wire.
So the terminal are listed above and the terminal fit onto wire at a 90 degree connection. If I use a regular crimping tool for like a female stake on these terminals slip off of wire. There has to be a proper crimping tool for these closed barrel terminals. Do u know if an open barrel crimping tool will work.

The numbers on the small plastic bag terminals came in are as follows 998-0021-00. Copeland makes these terminals and they come with the new compressor that needed installed

What kind of tool will crimp these terminals. On packaging it says round barrel crimp tool. Is that same as open barrel crimp tool. Where can I purchase this specific crimping tool
I'm not certain. I am only familiar with open barrel and closed barrel terminals. The crimping tool would also be different depending on the type of wire and application.
For instance we have the Telemaster Crimp Tool for voice and data cable terminals.
