Dungs 224-845 Dual Modular Valve DMV-DLE 701/602 Series 120VAC

The DUNGS Dual Modular Valve (DMV-D(LE)/602) combines two normally closed, automatic shutoff valves in one compact housing, which can be wired independently or in parallel. Valve 1 (V1) of the DMV-D and DMV-DLE series is fast opening and fast closing. Valve 2 (V2) of the DMV-D is fast opening, while V2 of the DMV-DLE is slow-opening for smoother light-off. Max. flow adjustment on V2 provides variable main flow on both models.

Application
The DMV/6 is recommended for industrial and commercial heating applications that require two safety shutoff valves in series. The DMV is suitable for natural gas, propane, butane, air and other inert gases.

Optional Approvals
When ordered and installed with Burkert connector plug (part number 253731), the UL Recognized DMV valve may replace a UL Listed valve. Such a substitution is typically required for equipment UL Listed to UL 295/UL 795.

The Karl Dungs or KDI Dual Modular Valve DMV-DLE 701/602 Series and the Dual Modular Valve DMV-DLE 701/622 Series are both Dual Modular Valves (DMV) that combines two automatic shutoff valves in one compact housing, which can be wired independently or in parallel. Both can be used with dry natural gas, propane, butane, air and inert gases.

On both the the 701/602 and 701/622 valve 1 (V1) of the DMV-D and DMV-DLE series is fast opening and fast closing. Valve 2 (V2) of the DMV-D is fast opening, while V2 of the DMV-DLE is slow opening for smoother light-off. Max. flow adjustment on V2 provides variable main flow on both models. In addition, they are both suiatable for industrial and commercial heating applications that require two safety shutoff valves.

The main difference is that the DMV/622 is recommended for industrial and commercial heating applications that require two safety shutoff valves and “proof of closure” valve seal overtravel and interlock.

Valve 2 (V2) incorporates “proof of closure”.

The DMV-D/622 has two normally closed automatic shutoff valves in one housing. Valve 2 (V2) incorporates “proof of closure”. V1 and V2 are fast opening, fast closing.
