The DUNGS Two-Stage Dual Modular Valve (DMV-ZRD(LE)/602) combines two normally closed, automatic shutoff valves in one compact housing, which can be wired independently or in parallel. Valve 2 (V2) incorporates two stages that can be field set at two different firing rates to modulate from high to low during gas burning equipment operation. Valve 1(V1) of the DMV-ZRD and DMV-ZRDLE series is fast opening and fast closing. Valve 2 (V2) is a two stage valve. V2 of the DMV-ZRD is fast opening, while V2 of the (DMV-ZRD(LE)/602) is slowopening. Max. flow adjustment on V2 provides variable main flow on both models.

Application
The DUNGS DMV-ZRD is recommended for industrial and commercial heating applications where two safety shutoff valves in series that modulate between two firing rates are required. The DMV-ZRD/6 Dual Multi-Valve two stage is suitable for natural gas, propane, butane, air and other inert gases.

Optional Approvals
When ordered and installed with Burkert connector plug (part number 253731), the UL Recognized DMV valve may replace a UL Listed valve. Such a substitution is typically required for equipment UL Listed to UL 295/UL 795.

Conduit Adapter (240671), DIN connector (210319), and flanges must be ordered and priced separately. Code requirements vary. FM requires visual indication on1" and larger safety valves. Two visual indicators, (VI) 266949 or one CPI 400 (CPI) 266968, and one VI meet this requirement. These also must be ordered separately.
