DT1160

Dwyer DT1160 Magnetic Position Sensor provides fast, reliable position monitoring for linear valves, actuators, cylinders, rotary valves, and dampers in HVAC and industrial control systems.

Its magnetically actuated tungsten SPDT Form C switch responds in 3.0 msec, helping deliver dependable indication with no moving parts to wear or require adjustment.

The hermetically sealed reed switch is epoxy-potted in a durable 316 stainless steel housing and supports AC or DC operation at 3A at 125 VAC or 3A at 30 VDC.  Performance includes 0.50-ohm maximum initial contact resistance, 0.005-inch repeatability, and 0.030-inch hysteresis across a -40 to 163°F operating range.

The standard actuator provides a 0.1-inch sensing distance, while a larger compatible actuator can extend the range to 0.5 inch.  Weatherproof and explosion-proof construction supports applicable hazardous-location installations, and the 1/2"-14 female NPT conduit connection helps simplify installation.

Choose the Dwyer DT1160 for durable, responsive position sensing in compatible industrial and HVAC control applications.
