The Honeywell M847A1080 is a two-position draft damper actuator that operates with 8VA, 24V, and 60 Hz power ratings.  This has a round shaft, 38” chain linkage, and an actuator wheel that rotates in a clockwise direction (facing wheel) when energized.  UL Recognized.

The actuator is a low-voltage spring return, normally closed.  It comes with a mounting bracket to mount the device on walls, ducts, direct furnaces, or boilers to control a damper through a direct actuator arm or a chain linkage arrangement.

The M847A1080 is a direct replacement for M847A1008 and M847A1031.  Suitable for room thermostat, draft damper, solid fuel furnace/boiler, and other light-duty applications.

4.0 Works as expected.

Easy to install. Only thing I noticed is that the motor becomes quite hot in operation. Apparently it is normal but note sure on the impact on the long term reliability of the product well see.
