The TK300-30 is an expansion tank that has a 4.4 gallon (16.7 liters) total volume with a 2.5 gallon (9.5 liters) maximum accepted volume. It has a 1/2" external NPT male connection size with up to 100 psi (689 kPa) maximum operating pressure and 240°F (116°C) maximum temperature.

The expansion tank is suitable for use with closed water hot water heating or solar system applications. The unit's function is to expand water with a diaphragm that separates the air cushion from the water to avoid water logging.

The TK300-30 is easy to install and mounted by screwing it into the bottom of an air eliminator or air purger located at the main hot water supply pipe near the boiler.
