The TK300-90 is an expansion tank that has a 14-gallon (53.0 liter) total volume and an 11.5-gallon (43.5 liter) maximum accepted volume. It has a 1/2" external NPT male connection size with 12 psi (83 kPa) precharge pressure.

The expansion tank is suitable for use with water in closed hot water heating or solar system applications. The unit's function is to prevent waterlogging by having the diaphragm separate the air cushion from the water.

The unit is easy to install with mounting it at the bottom of an air eliminator or air purger in the main hot water supply pipe.
