The Karl Dungs 228-770 Butterfly Control Valve 1-1/4" DMK 712/6 19 MM Orifice actuates on a 0 - 90 degree stroke in either direction. The valve does not close 100% and is not considered a tight shutoff valve and features direct mounting with most Karl Dungs shutoff valves.
Application:
The 228-770 is suitable for gas or air modulation on industrial and commercial heating applications. It can operate with natural gas, propane, butane, air and other inert gases. A recommended maximum pressure drop of 40" is suggested for optimum control through valve body. The 228-770 is designed for use with a Karl Dungs DMA actuator and screws directly to the downstream flange of the DMV.
