Kunkle 0537-D01-HM0160 Steam Safety Direct Spring Relief Valve is made of bronze and cast iron materials providing long service life.  The valve has a 3/4" Female NPT Inlet X 1" Female NPT Outlet connection, set pressure of 160 PSIG and -20°F to 250°F temperature limit

The Kunkle Safety Relief Valves is designed for generators, hot water boilers, and heat exchangers applications.  The valves relieve the overpressure created by thermal expansion under normal on and off firing conditions. Also, relieves the overpressure in the form of water or steam created in over-firing due to failure of electrical or other controls.  It features a pivot located within the disc and spring that corrects misalignment and an isolating diaphragm for internal parts protection from corrosion caused by discharged liquid.
