The MarkTime® 42E724A Astronomic Programmable Electronic time switch replaces single-pole switches to ensure cost and energy savings, security and convenience. It’s quiet; low profile design has an array of programs for to-the-minute, 24-hour, 7-day control.

Applications:

The Astronomic Programmable time switch is designed to automatically energize a light, fan, or small appliance load on a daily basis (or other combination of days). The “Astronomic” feature will adjust the start or stop time of the load as sunrise and sunset changes throughout the year. In addition the 42E724A has multiple features to further customize the programmed time of the load and provide enhanced convenience during use.

• Astronomic programming allows for automatic adjustment to local sunrise/sunset and Daylight Savings Time as they change throughout the year allowing the user the convenience of a “set-it and forget-it” timer.
• Random Timing Mode available for added security while away for extended periods avoiding a predictable time controlled look.
• Versatile programming allows for 20 available ON/ OFF Programs for cost and energy savings, security and convenience.
• Convenient 3 way capability for dual-switch operation of lighting in a long hallway, stairway or large room.
• Manual Pushbutton Override provides manual ON/OFF switching at any time for added convenience.
• Countdown timer mode available for auto-shut off of a load after a pre-set time period, similar to a simple time switch.
• “Hide” programmed time entires to avoid unwanted tampering with settings.
• Internal Battery Backup protects memory in the event of power outages.
