Nordyne 626487R Manual Reset Limit Switch is a furnace safety high limit switch designed to help protect gas heating systems from overheating. Rated for 250 – 480V AC, it opens at 190°F and manually resets at 140°F, requiring a physical reset after a trip so the cause can be addressed before restoring heat. For natural gas and propane (LP) furnace applications (depending on your model), it improves safety and reliability by shutting down heating operation if furnace temperatures rise too high, helping prevent overheating damage and nuisance shutdowns.
