The Rheem 61-106238-45 is a thermal expansion valve (TXV) featuring a 3/8” inlet x 7/8” outlet connection.  It includes a 30” capillary tube and a 1-13/16” equalizer tube for flexible installation.

The valve is built with a balanced port for stable operation and offers straight-through or angle configurations to accommodate diverse system layouts.  It also has a mesh insert strainer that helps protect the system by filtering out debris before it enters the valve.

The 61-106238-45 is a direct replacement for the 61-21922-63 thermal expansion valve (TXV).  It is designed for use with R22 refrigerant in residential and light commercial air conditioning and heat pump systems, and is rated for a 6-ton capacity.
