Rheem Water Heating Element

Heating elements for water heaters come in a variety of configurations and materials. The Rheem AP13051 converts electricity into heat which the element then conducts into the water heater. These elements need to be replaced periodically as build-up from natural occurring elements in your water system will slowly corrode the contacts and the element. Heating elements in water heaters are usually easy to replace. Consult the installation instructions listed in the Technical Data tab on the product detail page.
