The Rheem SP10869KL is a water-heating element made of stainless steel. The operating voltage is 208V and has a wattage of 2630W. Easy to install on water heaters with its screw-in construction. The element also includes a gasket for a mechanical seal.
The Rheem SP10869KL converts electricity into heat which the element then conducts into the water heater. These elements need to be replaced periodically as build-up from natural occurring elements in your water system will slowly corrode the contacts and the element. Heating elements in water heaters are usually easy to replace. Consult the installation instructions listed in the Technical Data tab on the product detail page.
