The Trane COM14874 is a hermetic scroll compressor designed for HVAC systems using R-410A refrigerant.  It operates on 200-230 VAC, single-phase power at 60 Hz.  The compressor provides a single-stage modulation with a refrigeration capacity of approximately 3.2 tons, making it suitable for residential or light commercial air conditioning applications.

This compressor uses POE (polyolester) oil, which is compatible with R-410A refrigerant and supports efficient lubrication and heat transfer within the compressor.  The hermetic housing design encloses the motor and compression components within a sealed shell, helping improve reliability and prevent refrigerant leakage.

The COM14874 features a 1" discharge connection and a 1-1/4" suction line connection, allowing proper refrigerant flow through the HVAC system.  This replaces part number COM8968.
