The Trane MOT18981 is a single-phase, permanent split capacitor (PSC) direct-drive motor with 3/4 HP, 115V, and 60 Hz power ratings. UL Recognized for safety compliance.

This motor runs at 1100 RPM in a counterclockwise (lead end) rotation with 4-speed capability. It features a 48-frame design, sleeve or self-aligning bearings, and an open air over (OAO) enclosure for reliable performance.

A direct replacement for the MOT4723 motor, and is compatible with American Standard and Trane furnaces, suitable for horizontal mounting. Built with a thermal protector, designed to withstand 50°F to 120°F ambient temperature.

Note: A new capacitor may be required; replace with a 30 MFD 370 VAC capacitor (RNG02600 included).
