Trane MOT9229 Programmed Blower Motor Module is a factory-programmed OEM ECM blower motor for residential and light commercial gas or electric forced-air furnaces and air handlers that require quiet, efficient airflow control.

This 1/2 HP single-phase, variable-speed motor runs at 1,050 RPM on 120/208-240V with 4.3 A (240V) and 7.7 A (120V) locked-rotor current, improving comfort and efficiency versus standard PSC motors. The compact 48-frame, open dripproof enclosure keeps the windings cool while protecting internal components, and the 0.5 in diameter, 4 in long shaft is designed for direct-drive blower wheels in shaft-up, horizontal, or shaft-down mounting positions.

Bidirectional clockwise/counterclockwise rotation supports a broad range of Trane OEM and programmed ECM replacement applications, making one motor suitable for multiple system designs, and this unit is engineered to be compatible with the following Trane models and air handlers:
