Watts Series LF3004 Dielectric Unions

Series LF3004 Dielectric Unions feature female iron pipe thread to female iron pipe thread (zinc plated) connections. These unions are designed to be installed to prevent accelerated corrosion and deterioration in the piping system due to galvanic and stray current. The LF3004 features Lead Free* construction to comply with Lead Free* installation requirements.

This 0821931 3/4 inch lead free dielectric union is used in commercial and residential applications to prevent accelerated corrosion and deterioration in the piping system due to galvanic and stray current. It is installed between pipes made from dissimilar metals and is used on applications such as hot water storage tanks, water and air conditioners, processing tanks, steam, gas, and water piping. It consists of a FIP thread to FIP thread (galvanized) connections, union nut, two tailpieces, and a Buna-N gasket that separates the tailpieces to prevent an electric current from occurring. The maximum temperature is rated up to 180 degrees F (82 degrees C) at 250 psi (17.2 bar).
