ZoneFirst MP12M Plug-In Damper Motor is a compact 12 VDC, low-current draw actuator designed for ZoneFirst EZ Wire Plug-In Damper Systems, delivering fast power-open/power-close operation to keep zoned HVAC systems responsive and efficient. With a 90° stroke, from 3 o’clock (blade fully open) to 6 o’clock (blade fully closed), and 7 in/lbs (0.79 Nm) of torque on a direct-drive .224" x .224" shaft, it drives round or rectangular supply and return dampers in common gas, oil, electric, and heat pump forced-air systems, controlling airflow only, not fuel.  A two-color LED provides at-a-glance status (green open, red closed), while the actuator cycles between open and closed in under five seconds and has been life-tested to over 1,000,000 cycles for long service life.
 
Each zone on compatible ZoneFirst control panels can power up to ten MP12M motors, wired with plug-in RJ11 ports and standard 4-conductor telephone cable to speed installation and reduce wiring errors.  The MP12M is an ideal choice for upgrading existing zoning systems, improving comfort room by room, and supporting energy-saving airflow control while meeting the straightforward, spec-focused requirements of industrial and HVAC buyers.
