The Fireye 85UVF1A-1QD is a microprocessor-based, integrated flame scanner powered by 24 VDC and includes an 8-pin electrical quick-disconnect (QD) for straightforward installation.  Additionally, it provides 4 to 20mA output for real-time flame strength monitoring.  Utilizing a solid-state UV sensor, it operates within the 295 to 340 nanometer wavelength range. The scanner features an internal flame relay with automatically set ON/OFF thresholds, eliminating the need for external flame amplifiers or switches.

Designed for versatility, the 85UVF1A-1QD detects the amplitude modulations, or "flicker," within the targeted flame across a wide frequency spectrum.  During setup, the scanner automatically stores the flame's amplitude characteristics and determines optimal ON/OFF criteria, ensuring accurate and consistent performance.  The device also incorporates comprehensive self-diagnostics and electronic self-checking mechanisms to maintain operational integrity.
