The AK-42309-500 is a positive positioner pneumatic relay that features a force-balance relay-type position sensing mechanism, large air capacity, and adjustable start-point and span.  It operates at a 1 to 12 psi (7 to 83 kPa) pressure range and can handle a maximum pressure of 30 psi (207 kPa) within temperatures of 32 to 140°F (0 to 60°C).

The positive positioner pneumatic relay is designed to accurately position actuators based on signal pressure from the controller.  It can also modify the effective spring range of actuators and boost controller capacity.  The unit has an adjustable start-point and span allowing for flexible system setup.

The AK-42309-500 is easy to install, with main-air and exhaust connections located at the actuator that speed up the actuator response.  The TOOL-95 calibration kit accessory and PKG-1089 springs & feedback arm replacement part are also available.
