The Honeywell RM7890A1015 is an On-Off primary control unit for automatically fired gas, oil, or combination fuel single-burner applications. Operating at 120 Vac, it features an intermittent pilot with selectable pilot flame-establishing periods of 4 or 10 seconds, and an intermittent main flame-establishing period. The control unit provides automatic burner sequencing, flame supervision, system status indication, and self-diagnostics. Five LEDs offer sequence information, and a nonvolatile memory retains history files and sequencing status after power loss.
For proper operation, the RM7890A1015 requires a Q7800A or Q7800B subbase and an appropriate flame signal amplifier, such as the R7847, R7848, R7849, R7851, R7852, R7861, or R7886 models. Optional accessories include a keyboard display module (KDM), DATA CONTROLBUS™ module, remote display module, first-out expanded annunciator, and COMBUSTION SYSTEM MANAGER™ software, enhancing user interface and system diagnostics. The relay module is paired with R4222N1002 tradeline coil and should be powered through terminal 8.
The RM7890A1015 is recognized by Underwriters Laboratories Inc. (UL) and certified by the Canadian Standards Association (CSA). This replaces part number RM7890C1005. When purchasing part numbers RM7890A1015, R7847A1025, and Q7800F1004 together, they also serve as a replacement for RA890F1338.
